The PodMic has an XLR connection, so you will need a standard 3-pin XLR cable plus an audio interface such as the RØDE AI-1 or RØDECaster Pro to act as the bridge to your computer. From there, record into any Digital Audio Workstation - Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton, Logic, GarageBand or Reaper, to name a few - or similar audio recording software.
No. Due to the design of the swing mount, the PodMic cannot be attached to an external shock mount - but its capsule is internally suspended and the swing mount is internally decoupled from the body, so a shock mount is not needed. There is also an in-built pop filter, so a windshield is not needed either.
